Kerynn Fisher appointed executive officer for Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Board of Regents

The position is responsible for serving as the primary liaison between the board, university administration, governmental entities, and the public. Fisher has served as special assistant to Âé¶¹´«Ã½ President Pat Pitney since October 2020.

Following the April 11 announcement that KPC Director Cheryl Siemers will serve as interim chancellor for Âé¶¹´«Ã½A, Chancellor Sean Parnell is accepting letters of interest and nominations for the interim director role at Kenai Peninsula College.

Cheryl currently serves as the director of Âé¶¹´«Ã½A's Kenai Peninsula College (KPC). She has excellent leadership experience, understands and clearly articulates Âé¶¹´«Ã½A's dual-mission, and has led enrollment growth at KPC. Cheryl will work alongside Chancellor Parnell during his transition and will begin as Interim Chancellor on May 17.
