Cassandra Stalzer to lead strategic communications

Cassandra Stalzer, APR, CAP® will join the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Foundation as manager of public relations on December 6 where she will lead strategic communications and community outreach. Cassandra also will work with the system Office of Public Affairs promoting Âé¶¹´«Ã½ and contributing to the system's overall communications efforts.

Good news on funding for state scholarships, grant and WWAMI

On Aug. 25 we received good news from Governor Dunleavy about his decision to immediately fund the state's Alaska Performance Scholarship [APS], Alaska Education Grant [AEG] and the Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, Idaho medical education [WWAMI] programs. This means our students who have earned these scholarships and grants can be assured of funding for their education this year.
