    During its December 15 meeting, the Â鶹´«Ã½ Foundation board of directors elected five new board members and extended the terms of three others. The board received an update on the University system's first-ever comprehensive fundraising campaign, and heard of major impacts from recent philanthropic gifts made to Â鶹´«Ã½ Anchorage, Â鶹´«Ã½ Fairbanks, and Â鶹´«Ã½ Southeast.
