Now Accepting Proposals for the Harold T. Caven Professorship in Business and Finance

The Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Foundation is accepting proposals from Jan. 9 - April 4, 2025 for the Harold T. Caven Professorship in Business and Finance (Caven Professorship). Proposals will be accepted from faculty members in business and finance within the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ system. The professorship allows for a Âé¶¹´«Ã½ faculty member to extend and expand Âé¶¹´«Ã½â€™s business and finance research and outreach activities throughout Alaska.

Angus Gavin Migratory Bird Research Grant Applications Due by January 17, 2025

Fairbanks, AK - Scientists within the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ System (Âé¶¹´«Ã½F, Âé¶¹´«Ã½A, Âé¶¹´«Ã½S), including graduate students and faculty members, are invited to apply for the Angus Gavin Memorial Migratory Bird Research Grant (Gavin Grant). Applications may be submitted through Friday, January 17, for 2025 field season proposals. The selection committee will make award selections between $15,000 - $30,000 for one or more applicants.

Libby Roderick receives 2022 Bullock Prize

Roderick, who has been a Âé¶¹´«Ã½A staff member since 2006, is the director of the Difficult Dialogues Initiative and associate director of the Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence. Roderick received the award Wednesday during the Foundation's board meeting in Fairbanks.
