Fees
The Â鶹´«Ã½ Foundation maintains over 1,800 distinct funds in support of the Â鶹´«Ã½. Fees on gifts help fund the Â鶹´«Ã½ Foundation’s operations allowing it to:
- Process all charitable gifts to the Â鶹´«Ã½ system
- Provide receipts for all donations
- Ensure that all contributions are used as donors intended
- Inform Â鶹´«Ã½ beneficiaries of contributions
- Build and maintain relationships with friends and alumni
- Manage fund investments ensuring adequate returns
- Create and maintain systems for data management
- Provide financial reports on all funds held at the Â鶹´«Ã½ Foundation
- Manage scholarship platform for the Â鶹´«Ã½ system
- Provide support services for advancement efforts throughout the Â鶹´«Ã½ system
The Â鶹´«Ã½ Foundation charges a one-time gift fee of 5% on gifts. Gifts to endowments have a one-time 1% gift fee. Invested funds have a 1% annual fee netted from earnings.
The Â鶹´«Ã½ Foundation Board of Directors reviews and approves this fee structure in consultation with the Â鶹´«Ã½ system.
